Ashlee Harvey

Owner/Coach

I’m Miss Ashlee, the dedicated owner and coach at the Academy of Gymnastics, where I’m celebrating my 20th year of coaching. With a passion for the sport and an unwavering commitment to excellence, I’ve spent two decades shaping young talents and guiding them towards success. When I’m not busy coaching gymnastics, I find joy in teaching dance and choreographing mesmerizing floor routines. My approach integrates grace, precision, and creativity, ensuring that each performance is both technically sound and artistically inspiring. My love for gymnastics extends to my community involvement, where I’ve led park and recreation programs, fostering a love for the sport in individuals of all ages. With every leap, twist, and turn, I strive to instill confidence, discipline, and a sense of accomplishment in my students, creating a legacy of athleticism and artistry.

He holds a Professional Development Accreditation and Safety Certification from U.S.A. Gymnastics. Serving as the assistant coach at the University of Connecticut from 1980 to 1983, his team secured sixth-place honors and produced two All-Americans at the 1983 NCAA National Championships. In 2016, Andy was named A.A.U. Coach of the Year. After years of accomplishments and success, he is delighted to see his daughter Ashlee carry on his legacy.

Miss Lauren

Coach

Hi! My name is Miss Lauren. I joined the Academy of Gymnastics in 2008. I began with recreational classes, competed for 9 years, and have been coaching for 8 years. In 2018, I competed at nationals in Tampa, Florida, representing Connecticut. I am currently attending my junior year at Grand Valley State University, where I compete in collegiate gymnastics. I enjoy coaching all age groups and skill levels. My favorite part about AOG is the family-like bond within the teams and the connections we coaches make with the gymnasts.

Miss Morgan

Coach

Hi! I’m Morgan. I have been doing gymnastics for 6 years and I started coaching about 2 years ago. I enjoy coaching the younger girls/boys in classes. I also love practicing gymnastics at the gym and in my free time.
